Kate Leopold Biography
Kate is an experienced stage performer who has been playing to sizable audiences since 2007. She has shared the stage with many local and touring musicians including the Hussy Hicks, Juzzie Smith, Brothers Calling, Felicity Lawless, OKA Casey Barnes, Taylor, Matiu te Huki, and Ella Fence to name a few.
Kate is a passionate advocate for environmental custodianship and when she’s not on stage or writing music, she works as an environmental scientist. She consistently supports local causes for the environment, sustainable living and humanity, including a recent set at the 2019 Gold Coast Panel for Climate Change. Within scope of her solo venture, Kate is envisioning projects that combine the healing power of music with an opportunity for people to make a difference through inspired action.
